Pendolino olives are picked early to give a robust oil with grassy flavour and a late peppery/chili finish on the palate. Judges comments for the 2008 oil were: aromas of green tomato and citrus - an interesting mild pleasant oil with balanced bitterness and pungency.
It is ideal for dipping bread or drizzling on salads and vegetables.
